Job summary

IHM Outdoors is seeking a Resort Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our resort properties and amenities.

You will handle repairs, inspections, and lawn care while ensuring guest areas remain clean and inviting. This role requires on-call availability, physical activity, and a willingness to perform various tasks to maintain our grounds and facilities.

Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency, including email and internet access.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.
• Proficient with hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery.
• General knowledge of janitorial, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Ability to respond to resort needs during non-business hours while on-call.
• 6 months maintenance experience in a campground or RV resort preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete minor repairs to rental homes and facilities as needed.
• Complete routine maintenance and minor emergency electrical repairs, plumbing, sewage, construction, and street repair.
• Inspect the irrigation system regularly and repair as necessary.
• Inspect playgrounds, pool/spa areas, and other amenities and make minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain resort grounds, weed control, and landscaping activities.
• Ensure resort cleanliness and curb appeal standards are met.
• Assist Resort Manager with supervision of service contractors.
• Report maintenance issues to the manager.
• Maintain resort vehicles and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and operate vehicles as needed.
