Job summary

Island-Hospitality-Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain hotel systems and equipment. The role requires teamwork, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently or with a team to keep facilities in top condition.

The position may require flexible scheduling and responsiveness to emergencies, with a focus on guest comfort and safety across hotel operations. Training and development opportunities are provided within the organization.

• Responsible for knowing Hotel emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain hotel systems and equipment.
• Report and correct potential safety hazards and notify supervisors of damages.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpet and tile floor maintenance and repairs.
• Paint, minor roof repairs, and other exterior projects.
• Repair pool and exercise room equipment as needed.
• Participate in preventative maintenance programs.
• Prepare reports during each shift for management.
• Assist during bad weather for exterior hotel maintenance.
