Job summary

Fortune Bay Resort Casino seeks a part-time Reservationist to handle room bookings, answer inquiries, and promote hotel services. You will quote rates, update reservations, and maintain accurate records while delivering excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires overnight availability, strong math and computer skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information. Previous hotel PMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and a hotel PMS.
• Basic math skills for financial transactions and balancing reports.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and financial records.
• Ability to obtain and maintain gaming license if applicable.
• Ability to work overnight, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle reservations to maximize room revenue and average rate.
• Provide friendly, efficient guest service and accurate information about services, hours, and promotions.
• Maintain accurate profiles, bookings, and payments.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person with professionalism.
• Send confirmation emails or letters and update reservation information.
• Know hotel events and loyalty programs (e.g., Wild Edge Players Club).
• Provide directions to the property and local attractions.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and maintain neat appearance.
