Job summary

Mauna Kea Resort is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent to greet guests, answer calls, arrange wake-up calls, reservations, and coordinate with resort departments to ensure smooth service. You will handle room service orders, assist with dining reservations, up-sell offerings, and maintain SOPs to deliver exceptional hospitality.

Candidates should be able to multi-task, communicate clearly, and meet health clearance requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct internal and external telephone calls in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Program and log wake-up calls.
• Input messages and facsimiles as requested.
• Coordinate communications within the resort, including emergencies and life safety.
• Take food and beverage room service orders and process via POS.
• Assign deliveries and tasks to waitstaff; ensure prompt service.
• Take dining reservations; know menus, hours, and entertainment.
• Communicate guest requests to relevant departments.
• Suggestive selling of menu items.
• Follow SOPs and perform related duties.
