Job summary

Capital Vacations, LLC seeks a skilled General Manager to oversee all resort operations, day-to-day staff management, and guest satisfaction. You will lead departments, ensure service standards, and collaborate with Owners and Board Members to drive profitability and strategic goals.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive hospitality experience, and the ability to manage budgets and cross-functional teams. On-site position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Hospitality, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience as a General Manager or Assistant GM preferred.
• Experience within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations functions of the resort.
• Process and submit payroll to Human Resources.
• Hold regular briefings with department heads and manage guest complaints.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Lead capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment initiatives.
• Prepare, present, and achieve the resort's annual operating budget and marketing plan.
• Travel for offsite training or transitions (average 1–2 weeks).
