Job summary

Capital Vacations is seeking a results-driven General Manager to lead all resort operations, guest satisfaction, and staff leadership. You will coordinate across departments, drive service standards, and steward the resort’s financial performance, including budgeting and capital initiatives.

The role requires proven leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage multiple departments and priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.
• Hospitality or equivalent industry job-related experience.
• Experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager preferred.
• Experience within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven strong leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize, manage and delegate efficiently.
• Flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations functions of the resort.
• Process and submit payroll to Human Resources.
• Hold regular briefings with department heads.
• Manage all departments and work with department heads daily.
• Own guest complaints and drive service recovery.
• Support front desk, housekeeping, maintenance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, procedures and service standards.
• Lead capital projects, budgeting, and profitability efforts.
• Drive customer service and refurbishment initiatives.
• Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
