Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualālai is seeking a Resort Assistant Manager to lead Front Desk operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.

This role requires a passion for hospitality, problem solving, and a commitment to world-class service. You will mentor Front Desk staff, coordinate check-ins/outs, and collaborate across departments to deliver memorable stays.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum two years of hotel leadership or management experience, preferably within Front Office operations.
• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest service excellence.
• Knowledge of Front Desk operations, reservations systems, and hotel technology platforms.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Front Desk operations during assigned shifts.
• Welcome, register, and assist guests with personalized service.
• Coach and support Front Desk Receptionists and Rooms Controllers.
• Coordinate arrivals, departures, room assignments, and special requests.
• Review daily arrivals and VIP, return, and group guest handling.
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Ensure compliance with financial, billing, cash handling, and credit procedures.
• Perform guest check-in and check-out transactions accurately.
• Respond to guest inquiries regarding resort services and local recommendations.
• Utilize hotel systems to manage reservations, blocking, reporting, and guest data.
• Act as leader on duty and handle emergencies with senior leadership unavailable.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Bell Services, Reservations and other departments.
