Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Server Assistant to join our team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences. The role emphasizes knowledge of resort offerings, professional guest interaction, and precise service standards in a luxury setting.

Applicants must have up to one year of restaurant or F&B experience, legal US work authorization, and be available for weekends and holidays. On-site benefits include an employee gym, meals, and growth opportunities at Four Seasons.

Qualifications

• Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage experience required.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States.
• Weekend and Holiday availability required

Responsibilities

• Utilize non-verbal cues to clear finished plate and glassware from the table, and mark table with necessary silverware between courses.
• Inquire on water preference, ensuring water glasses are consistently at least 50% full to Four Seasons standard.
• Provide bread service and maintain inventory of bread through communication with Chef responsible for ordering product.
• Stock linen, china, silver and glassware for service ensuring that all are polished and in good condition before and after service daily.
• Greet guests in a professional manner, serve beverage and food items while explaining the contents, and anticipate and service the guest’s needs before requests are necessary.
• Preparation of condiment and garnish items.
• Assistance with guest service including retrieving food from the kitchen using a tray and safely transporting it to guest, as well as removal of items from the guest’s table.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.
