Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure smooth upkeep operations and a safe, well-maintained living environment for residents and staff. The role requires leadership, hands-on maintenance knowledge across carpentry, plumbing, and electrical, and strong scheduling capabilities.

You will lead a maintenance team, plan daily work orders, perform quarterly inspections, and maintain inventory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in general maintenance, preferably in campground, resort, or residential housing.
• Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of heating, plumbing, light electrical, basic carpentry, painting, and other maintenance tasks.
• Proficient with hand tools, power equipment and commercial machinery.
• Ability to provide legible written reports and work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to be on-call and respond to after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity of all physical structures and meet safety standards.
• Inspect community daily to uphold curb appeal and show quality.
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Plan and distribute daily work orders to staff.
• Lead ongoing maintenance and improvement plans; assist with quarterly inspections.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory for property/management company.
• Address maintenance concerns swiftly to meet high upkeep standards.
• Report unusual circumstances regarding property/residents.
• Train maintenance staff on procedures, safety, and workmanship.
