Job summary

Horseshoe Bay Resort seeks an Engineer on Duty to sustain safe, efficient operation across guest rooms, public areas, and departments. This role serves as a frontline responder, providing timely technical support to guest rooms, public areas, and internal departments.

Ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting skills, good judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced resort environment. The position emphasizes safety and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience in at least three of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, or kitchen equipment.
• Experience with pneumatic or electronic control systems preferred.
• General building maintenance and finishing skills (including painting).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & repairs in guest rooms and public spaces.
• Emergency response and life-safety monitoring.
• System monitoring and logging of work performed.
• Energy management and efficiency improvement.
• Safety compliance and hazard mitigation.
• Equipment maintenance and tidy, organized engineering areas.
