The Engineer on Duty (EOD) at Crescent Hotels & Resorts is responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of the resort, including guest rooms and public areas. This frontline role requires strong troubleshooting, good judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor life safety systems, respond to alarms, and support other departments as needed to ensure guest comfort and property integrity.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and ability to read/write English.
• Professional appearance and safety-conscious work habits.

Responsabilités

• Maintenance & Repairs: Perform general maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic mechanical repairs.
• Emergency Response: Monitor life safety systems and respond to alarms and emergencies to ensure guest, staff, and property safety.
• System Monitoring: Inspect meters, gauges, and equipment; maintain logs of work performed and system activity.
• Energy Management: Monitor utility usage and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures and proactively address hazards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition; keep engineering areas clean and organized.
