Job summary

Caribe Royale Orlando in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Events Manager to coordinate and execute large-scale events at a resort property. You will be the main client contact after contracts are signed, handling food and beverage, setup, décor and AV logistics to ensure flawless experiences.

Coordinate with banquet, culinary, AV and operations teams, conduct client meetings, prepare BEOs, monitor timelines, manage budgets, and generate post-event reports for repeat business.

Qualifications

• 4-year university degree preferred or equivalent experience in hotels/resorts.
• 2-4 years’ experience in event management at a resort property preferred.
• Knowledge of catering and events market.
• Proven organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess sound strategic and tactical decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of diverse events i.e. weddings, corporate events, and reunions.
• Proven ability to handle complex group and social events.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for clients after event contracts are signed, managing all event details including food and beverage, setup, décor, audiovisual, and logistics.
• Coordinate with banquet, culinary, AV, and operations teams to ensure flawless event execution.
• Conduct pre- and post-event meetings with clients and internal departments.
• Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event resumes.
• Monitor event timelines and make real-time adjustments as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, corporate clients, and social customers.
• Provide professional guidance to clients regarding event design, flow and menu selection.
• Handle client feedback promptly and professionally, resolving concerns to ensure repeat business.
• Review event contracts to confirm billing accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Track and manage event budgets, ensuring profitability while meeting client expectations.
• Generate post-event reports, invoices, and billing summaries.
• Communicate in writing (Event Orders, Event Resumes, e-mails) and verbally with all operating departments to ensure the highest quality of execution at all times.
• Attend all intra/inter-departmental meetings as assigned.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.
