Evermore Orlando Resort in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Banquet Manager to lead daily banquet operations and develop an elevated service culture. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, and ensure service excellence across events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Banquet Manager or similar role in a resort or hotel environment.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Good computer skills in POS Systems, Delphi/Amadeus, email, web browsing, and scheduling software
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English to communicate effectively with clients, guests, and co-workers
• Strong team player with results-driven attitude
• Knowledge of Banquet Operations and interdepartmental relationships to achieve objectives
• Able to handle guest requests professionally and meet customer expectations
• Adhere to property and company policies; excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the Banquet Department.
• Create an elevated service culture with SOPs and standards.
• Supervise staff including managers, bartenders, captains, chefs, and servers.
• Prepare weekly staff schedules based on business demands.
• Conduct interviews, training, and performance reviews.
• Hire for the opening Banquet Department.
• Develop training programs for banquet staff.
• Know banquet menus, wedding menus, and package pricing for Evermore.
• Manage preventive maintenance for banquet equipment.
• Control labor and departmental expenses.
• Assist in forecast and budget preparation.
• Collaborate with other departments for events.
• Ensure payroll and accounting tasks are handled efficiently.
• Maintain banquet spaces and sanitation standards.
