Job summary

Caribe Royale Orlando in Orlando, FL is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to manage daily operations and provide administrative support to the Engineering department. The role requires strong organization, guest-service focus, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced resort setting.

The successful candidate will coordinate work orders, assist in purchasing, maintain knowledge of Engineering services, and support staff to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in administration role.
• Knowledge of different Engineering functions preferred.
• Outstanding guest services skills.
• Ability to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Professional demeanor appropriate for a resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on assignments/work orders to Engineering staff using the hotel work order system.
• Create and process purchase orders and coordinate securing products and/or services.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all Engineering services, hotel areas/features.
• Assist in ordering parts and keeping adequate parts, materials and supplies in stock.
• Maintain effective filing systems; completing all administrative reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Answer all calls to Engineering department in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Schedule and track all engineering preventative maintenance to include creation and update of logs, recordkeeping, and other departmental projects as needed.
• Attend all scheduled training sessions and meetings as required.
• Perform other reasonable requests made by your manager or supervisor.
