Job summary

Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, seeks a Planner/Scheduler III to optimize maintenance operations and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources across engineering and facilities teams, with on-site duties at the resort.

The position reports to the Director of Engineering & Facilities and requires 3+ years in planning/scheduling, CMMS experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project planning, coordinating, and scheduling.
• Hands-on experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build partnerships across teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple departments.
• Ability to multitask and adapt priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, dashboards).
• Knowledge of or ability to use estimating and scheduling software applications.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short- and long-term maintenance plans.
• Create and manage master schedules, monitor progress, and resolve variances.
• Audit UMS data for work orders and job plans to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and interpret performance reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate current work processes and recommend changes to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain CMMS data, including asset locations and equipment details.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, federal, state, and environmental regulations.
• Support purchasing, receiving, and expediting functions.
• Review and manage existing service contracts and vendor agreements.
• Lead negotiations with new vendors and contractors to secure favorable terms.
