Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Material Specialist to support our Engineering & Facilities team at Aulani Resort on Oahu, Hawaii. This full-time role focuses on purchasing, inventory control, procurement coordination, and materials handling to keep the resort operating safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering & Facilities, the position requires SAP experience, strong Excel skills, and solid organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in purchasing, materials control, or inventory management.
• Experience using SAP or similar purchasing/inventory systems.
• Strong MS Office skills, including Excel.
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Process material and spare parts orders and track them through completion.
• Coordinate material requisitions and procurement activities for Engineering & Facilities operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory accuracy and replenishment.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, and payments using SAP.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and movement of materials throughout the resort.
• Partner with Engineering, Planning, Sourcing & Procurement, and Shared Services teams to ensure material availability.
• Maintain compliance with Disney purchasing, inventory, safety, and quality standards.
