Job summary

Four Seasons Maui is seeking a Communications Operator to answer and direct calls, pages, radio requests, and faxes with professional hospitality. This role sits in the Rooms Division, reporting to the Communications Manager, and requires valid authorization to work in the United States.

You will handle guest interactions, route calls, operate switchboard and hotel systems, and support high-speed Internet, phone, iPad, paging, and related services.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Previous hotel/resort experience preferred.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software used in hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Answers and directs phone calls, pages, radio requests and faxes in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.
• Resolves guest inquiries with hospitality and professionalism; assists with high-speed Internet, telephone, iPad and facsimile services and hotel operations.
• Maintains proper working condition of hotel systems including switchboard, property management, and paging/radio systems.
