Job summary

Four Seasons Maui is seeking a Communications Operator to answer and direct calls with courtesy, supporting the Rooms Division under the Communications Manager. You will greet guests by name when possible and ensure smooth routing of inquiries.

The ideal candidate reads, writes, and speaks English, is computer literate, and has prior hotel or resort experience. The role requires a full-time schedule including evenings and weekends, and offers an hourly rate of $29.83 plus a comprehensive

Communications Operator

Answers and directs phone calls, pages, radio requests and faxes in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.This role is part of theRoomsDivision, reporting to theCommunications Manager. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

• Answers phone inquiries in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest names when possible and routing calls to proper extensions.
• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with high-speed Internet service, telephone, iPad and facsimile services, hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
• Utilizes and ensures proper working condition of the telephone switchboard, the hotel computer systems (e.g. property management, hotSOS, iPod, iPhone, iPad, paging and radio systems), high-speed Internet system and facsimile machines.
