Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Bartender to welcome guests and serve beverages at the Lyric bar, restaurant, and patio. You’ll work under the Food & Beverage Manager, delivering quality hospitality in a resort setting.

The role requires prior bartending experience, a valid Food Handlers Card and TIPS certification, and the ability to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment. Competitive benefits apply after eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One year bartending experience in a resort preferred.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to perform basic math (discounts and percentages).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide excellent hospitality by knowing the resort and dining area.
• Maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
• Greet and serve guests; take beverage orders and suggest drinks.
• Verify legal age for alcohol service.
• Coordinate with staff for events and functions.
• Manage beverage orders, inventory, and stock replenishment.
• Handle cash and card transactions; balance cash register.
