Job summary

GFL is seeking a Residential Driver to safely and efficiently provide waste removal services. You will collect solid waste and recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transport to post-collection facilities.

Responsibilities include operating a residential/recycling collection truck, loading waste, performing inspections, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Valid CDL and driving experience are required; safety and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Must possess a CDL.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection truck on assigned route.
• Load solid waste and recyclables into the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete daily reports.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor and perform safety checks.
