Job summary

The Residential Driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers on curbside and/or backdoor routes, transporting to post-collection facilities.

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a professional driver who can operate residential/recycling collection trucks, load waste and recyclables, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness while following safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection truck on specified routes.
• Load solid waste, yard waste, and recyclables into the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and manage route quality.
