Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a Residential Driver to safely collect solid waste and recyclables on curbside or backdoor routes. You will operate a collection truck, perform safety inspections, and maintain records while providing courteous service to customers.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must be able to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive and operate the truck and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection on specified routes.
• Load solid waste and recyclables into the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete reports.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor or mechanic promptly.
• Maintain route quality and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Attend safety and branch meetings and assist with route improvements.
