GFL Industries in North Carolina is hiring a Residential Driver to safely collect waste and recyclables on curbside and backdoor routes. You will operate a rear- or side-load truck, load materials, and transport to post-collection facilities.

Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, documenting route activity, maintaining a clean vehicle, and strict safety compliance. CDL is required; at least 1 year of driving experience or CDL school certificate is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria as per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsabilités

• Operate residential/recycling collection trucks on assigned routes.
• Load waste/recyclables into vehicle and ensure proper containment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; complete required reports.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical issues.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and wear PPE.
