Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a CDL-equipped residential waste driver in the Leesburg, FL area. You will operate a rear/side-load truck on designated routes, load and secure waste materials, and perform routine inspections and safety checks daily.

The role requires a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and at least 1 year of driving experience or completion of CDL school. Expect overtime as needed and adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL required with safe driving record.
• Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or CDL school certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection truck on assigned route.
• Load waste/recyclables into truck and secure cargo.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and document findings.
• Report mechanical issues immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain route quality and safety standards.
• Overtime may be required and safety policies must be followed.
