Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Residential Driver responsible for safe curbside waste collection and recycling services. You will operate a residential/recycling truck, load debris, and ensure route quality while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires a valid CDL, at least 1 year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate, and the ability to work with a team and follow safety procedures on all routes.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is preferred.
• CDL is required for this role.
• CDL school certificate acceptable if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection vehicle on assigned route.
• Load waste and recyclables; operate rear/side-load truck equipment.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and complete reports.
• Identify prohibited waste and remove from cart.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel safety practices.
• Communicate mechanical issues to supervisor promptly.
• Assist with routing improvements and overtime as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and local regulations.
