Job summary

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and coordinate with supervisors to optimize routing. CDL required; high school diploma preferred; ability to lift up to 100 pounds; comfortable working in outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Capacity to load/unload waste and operate a refuse collection truck safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling trucks on assigned routes.
• Load solid waste and recyclables; assist in routing and driving tasks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete reports.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safe operating conditions.
• Communicate with supervisor about mechanical issues and route changes.
• Adhere to safety policies and federal/state/local regulations.
