Job summary

Comcast Corporation is seeking a Residential Installation & Service Technician to perform in-home installations and troubleshooting for voice, video and data services. You will install new services, restore connectivity, and ensure a positive customer experience in a fast-paced field environment.

The role requires physical effort, operation of ladders and vehicles, and flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work on customer sites and in varied environments.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform duties at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects following safety and code standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from network to customer equipment.
• Install and support basic home networks (Coax, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi).
• Verify service quality using testing tools and adjust for reliability.
• Educate customers on products, services and safe usage.
• Document completed work and update customer accounts in digital systems.
• Maintain and stock vehicle, report safety concerns and equipment issues.
• Operate ladders, hand tools, meters and light power tools safely.
• Travel as required and complete trainings and certifications.
