Job summary

Comcast is seeking a Residential Installation & Service Technician in Florida to install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential voice, video, and internet services. This entry‑level field role includes paid training and required certifications, with opportunities to become more autonomous as skills grow.

You will perform on‑site service calls in customers' homes, work in varying environments, and must maintain reliable attendance, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Entry-level field role installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential voice, video, and internet services.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and work in crawl spaces, attics, and confined spaces.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
• Requires driving a company vehicle and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects following safety codes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from network to customer equipment.
• Install and support home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, and Wi‑Fi.
• Verify service quality with testing tools and adjust for reliability.
• Educate customers on products, services, and equipment use.
• Document completed work and update customer accounts digitally.
• Maintain and stock assigned vehicle, tools, and report safety concerns.
• Operate ladders, meters, and light power tools safely.
• Drive company vehicle and complete required training and licensing.
