Job summary

InterCommunity, Inc. is hiring a Residential Support Staff member to supervise clients and coordinate social-rehabilitation groups across our community health centers. You will ensure safety, perform care coordination, and support program participants in on-site and off-site activities.

Qualifications

• Peer Support Specialist Certification, or an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services Field.
• 3 years of experience in residential setting preferred.
• CPR Certification within 60 days of start date; Valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for clients and the facility safety and security, including substance abuse screening as directed.
• Conducts individual and group social-rehabilitation and care coordination activities including caring a case load of identified clients.
• Supervision of participants in the milieu and during (on-site and scheduled off-site activities); conduct scheduled room safety checks.
• Maintains confidential progress notes and other documentation on client activities.
• Provides necessary approved transportation and program related errands (either in agency or personal vehicle).
• In event of staff shortage, may be required to work past scheduled hours until a relief staff can be found.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
