Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is seeking a Residential Specialist to provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment. You will empower clients to engage in daily life and gain independence through a person-centered approach.

Schedule: Thurs-Sat 2p-10p. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $20.65 per hour in a caring, community-focused setting in San Diego. We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork to build meaningful days for clients and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid California Driver's License, current auto insurance, clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities such as personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, mobility, and organization.
• Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Create a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.
