Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is seeking a Residential Specialist in Santee, CA. You will provide direct, person-centered care to individuals with disabilities in a home setting, helping clients engage in daily life, make choices, and gain independence.

Pay ranges from $20.00 to $20.65 per hour, with Sat/Sun 6a-2p and Mon-Wed 6a-11am shifts. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k, paid training, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid California Driver's License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Experience using case management systems (Therap preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities like personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, getting dressed and undressed, mobility, and personal organization.
• Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Create a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.

Location: Santee

Pay: The pay for the position is $20.00 to $20.65

Schedule: Sat & Sun 6a- 2pm & Mon- Wed 6a-11a
