Colonial Group in California seeks a Residential Specialist to provide direct, person‑centered care in a home environment. You’ll empower clients to participate in daily life and gain independence in a supportive setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least six months’ experience with individuals with disabilities; a California driver’s license and clean driving record are also expected. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

About the Role:

As a Residential Specialist, you’ll provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment. Using a person-centered approach, you’ll empower clients to engage in daily life, make choices, and gain independence.

Schedule: Sun- Wed 7a-3p

Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65.

Location: Santee

A typical day will include:

• Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting
• Assist with daily activities like personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, getting dressed and undressed, mobility, and personal organization.
• Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Create a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• High school diploma or GED
• Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities

• Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
• A passion for making a difference!

We’d love it if you:

• Are bilingual in English and Spanish
• Have experience using case management systems (Therap preferred)
