The Arc of San Diego in San Diego, CA is seeking a Residential Specialist to provide direct care in a home setting for individuals with disabilities. You will empower clients to participate in daily life, make choices, and gain independence.

Location: Kearny Mesa. Schedule: Sat & Sun 6a-2p, Mon- Fri 6a-11a. Pay: $20.00 per hour. Join a supportive team with paid training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities like personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, getting dressed and undressed, mobility, and personal organization.
• Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Create a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.

About the Role:

As a Residential Specialist, you’ll provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment. Using a person-centered approach, you’ll empower clients to engage in daily life, make choices, and gain independence.

Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.00

• Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
