Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with disabilities in a day center setting in San Marcos. You will support clients to build independence, engage in activities, and develop essential life skills, with a Monday–Friday 8:30 am–3:00 pm schedule and pay between $20.00 and $20.65 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid California Driver’s License with current auto insurance and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in learning life, social, and personal care skills.
• Assist with daily needs including feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Lead engaging group and individual activities.
• Document progress and maintain accurate case records.

About the Role:

• Location: San Marcos
• Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30a-3p
• Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65.
