Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with disabilities in a day center setting in San Marcos. You will help clients build independence, participate in meaningful activities, and learn essential life skills in a supportive environment.

Location is San Marcos; schedule is Mon–Fri 8:30am–3:00pm, with pay ranging from $20.00 to $20.65 per hour. A high school diploma or GED and a valid CA driver’s license are required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.

• Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65.
