Job summary

Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc. is seeking a Residential Specialist to provide direct care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

We offer training, flexible Full-Time/Part-Time schedules, competitive pay at $17.25/hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, along with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
• Previous experience working directly with individuals with IDD and Behavioral Health.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to successfully complete all required training programs.
• Ability to pass Criminal Record History Clearances, FBI, Physical Examination, and Drug Screening.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when necessary.
• Supporting daily living skills and independence.
• Helping individuals participate in community activities, appointments, and social events.
• Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Following individualized support plans and goals.
• Promoting dignity, respect, and person-centered care.

What You’ll Do

Schedule

• Full- Time/Part-Time
• Flexible scheduling based on programmatic needs
• Evening, weekend, holiday, and overnight hours may be required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
