Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc. is hiring Residential Specialists to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting, across multiple PA locations.

You will perform direct care tasks, assist with daily living activities, and promote independence while maintaining a safe, respectful, and home-like environment. Training is provided, and hours vary with program needs.

No experience required for many positions; paid training provided.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
• Experience working with individuals with MH diagnoses and disabilities.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to complete required trainings and clearances (Criminal Record, FBI, physical exam, drug screening).

Part-Time Opportunities

• Weekend positions available

What You'll Do

As a Residential Specialist, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

Your responsibilities may include:

Qualifications

Required

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Previous experience working directly with individuals with MH diagnoses and disabilities


• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills


• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written


• Ability to successfully complete all required training programs


• Ability to pass Criminal Record History Clearances, FBI clearance, Physical Examination, and Drug Screening

Preferred

• Experience in residential services, behavioral health, recovery-oriented care, or human services


• Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care and person-centered practices

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed


• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
