Qualifications

• Experience in solar, construction, roofing, surveying, or related field.
• Understand basic residential electrical systems and roof structures.
• Comfort climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and mobile apps.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to travel locally on a daily basis.
• OSHA 10, drone certification, or similar credentials (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Conducting Site Surveys: perform on-site assessments for residential and commercial solar projects.
• Measuring and Evaluating Site Conditions: capture roof dimensions, pitch, azimuth, shading, and structural data.
• Assessing Electrical Infrastructure: review panels, meter locations, and interconnection points.
• Capturing Site Documentation: take detailed photos, notes, and drone imagery where certified.
• Identifying Installation Challenges: detect issues such as roof damage, obstructions, shading, or access limits.
• Data Entry and System Updates: input survey data into company software and CRM.
• Cross-Team Coordination: align with sales, design, permitting, and installation teams.
• Maintaining Equipment and Standards: ensure tools and vehicles are properly maintained and safety protocols followed.
• Customer Interaction: represent Terra Energy professionally during site visits.
