Job summary
Tesla is seeking a Residential Field Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain solar PV systems and energy storage solutions at residential sites. You will respond to corrective maintenance, document cases, and coordinate with the Operations Engineering Systems Reliability team to provide necessary data and updates.
The role requires hands-on experience with electrical systems, inverters, BESS, and compliance with NEC and NFPA 70E safety practices, while delivering strong
Qualifications
- 2+ years installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar PV and BESS systems.
- Experience installing inverters and BESS; able to work with ground and roof mount racking systems.
- Knowledge of NEC codes related to solar PV and Powerwall installations; NFPA 70E practices.
Responsibilities
- Respond to corrective maintenance cases on solar PV systems, energy storage systems, and update online case logs.
- Prepare and deliver report writing to comply with O&M contracts.
- Collaborate with Operations Engineering Systems Reliability to respond to open case directions and provide data.
