Job summary

ADT is seeking self-motivated sales advisors who will demonstrate the value of ADT’s security and smart home solutions to customers in their homes. You will build trust, tailor systems to clients’ needs, and follow up to ensure satisfaction and referrals.

A valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, and strong communication skills are essential. Earn potential includes uncapped commissions with the opportunity to advance; first weeks training is provided to help you hit the ground running.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; additional licensing may be needed by location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized and productive in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset; strong drive to uncover new leads and close deals.
• Strong communicator and relationship builder able to consult with customers and guide them to the right solution.
• Adaptable and flexible in dynamic environments and eager to learn new systems.
• Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust with customers as a reliable advisor before and after sale.
• Customize each system to fit the client’s space and lifestyle using security, automation, and life-safety tech.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments and generate referrals.
• Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and generating sales leads.
