The Department of Developmental Services in Massachusetts is seeking a Residential Supervisor I in Charlton. This full-time role offers leadership development opportunities, supervising homes and a dedicated team, with emphasis on safety, program development, and data-driven care for residents.

Primary duties include supervising staff, coordinating services, budgeting, and implementing Individual Service Plans in a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• At least three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in counseling, guidance, teaching, or therapeutic services for individuals with developmental disabilities and/or chronic mental illness, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Substitutions include a Bachelor's degree in specified fields for two years of nonsupervisory experience and a Master's or higher degree for an additional year of experience.
• No substitution is permitted for the required supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate, implement, and supervise the administrative and clinical operations of the homes, including residential program development and implementation and/or compliance of policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Supervise and evaluate support staff and make personnel recommendations for hiring and promotions.
• Ensure a safe home by supervising day-to-day interactions and activities of residents.
• Assess individuals' needs and resources to develop therapeutic programs in community living skills.
• Participate in ISP implementation, develop and maintain data collection and records.
• Monitor the physical operation and maintenance of the setting, monitor budgets, and manage individuals' funds.
