Job summary

The Jewish Board is seeking a Residence Manager to supervise maintenance and safety for adult residential apartments within the Adult Residential Division. The role reports to the Program Director and requires 24x7x365 availability to address urgent needs.

You will coordinate routine and emergency maintenance, liaise with program staff and the maintenance department, and ensure safe, compliant housing for residents. A strong collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services preferred.
HS Diploma with 3 years’ experience also acceptable.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in related field.
Experience with adults diagnosed with mental illness, homelessness, and substance abuse history preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain the maintenance of the residential apartments and resident safety.
Document work completed in resident apartments in the appropriate systems (e.g., MyAvatar).
Prepare reports; track maintenance and repairs completed in the apartments.
Liaise between program staff and maintenance to ensure timely repairs.
Ensure the physical plant meets safety and aesthetic standards per regulatory bodies.
Participate in team meetings and manage budget adherence.
