Job summary

NEW EARTH RESIDENTIAL LLC is seeking a Service Technician to support community operations. This non-exempt, hourly position reports to the Service Supervisor and Community Manager, with full-time hours and potential weekend and after-hours responsibilities.

You will perform general maintenance in common areas, assist with inspections, manage inventory, and provide courteous resident service. HVAC/R certification is preferred, and proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word is helpful for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, HVAC/R certification preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.
• Proven leader with strong customer service orientation.
• Self-motivated, able to manage time and priorities.
• Resourceful problem solver in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; English proficiency required; bilingual candidates encouraged.
• Inventory tracking and basic record-keeping skills.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors.
• Available for nights/weekends as needed.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to maintaining communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance in common areas.
• On-call responsibilities as needed.
• Complete service requests in occupied apartments per standards.
• Oversee maintenance tasks to support resident satisfaction and occupancy goals.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs and repair mechanical systems.
• Maintain cleanliness of grounds and common areas.
• Follow safety protocols and deliver courteous, 5-star resident service.
