Job summary

ADT is hiring a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot, configure, rebuild, and program security and site automation solutions for homes and small businesses. The role requires diagnosing system issues, reading blueprints, and coordinating inspections with authorities as needed.

Responsibilities include servicing fire and CO detection, access control, and video solutions, while ensuring accurate communication with the customer care center and adherence to established procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to read building electrical and sprinkler plans for trouble clearing.
• Physical requirements: standing, stooping, lifting, climbing, crawling.

Responsibilities

• Services fire and CO detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
• Follow required processes for wired/wireless technology and connection procedures.
• Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring for proper service.
• Provide customer service by helping customers understand protections and resolve issues.
