ADT Security Services in Charleston, SC is seeking a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct and program security and site automation solutions for residential customers.

You will service fire and CO detectors, access control, test signals, and communicate system status to the customer care center, ensuring reliable operation and customer satisfaction. The role requires physical work and a valid driver's license, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of install/inspect/repair experience with ADT or comparable product line.
• Strong communication skills and customer focus.
• Ability to read building electrical and sprinkler plans as needed for troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.
• Readjust, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test operation.
• Read blueprints, building and electrical plans to complete repairs.
• Prepare trouble orders to document temporary repairs.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other agencies.
