HyggeHus is seeking a Project Manager to lead residential remodeling projects from handoff to completion, working in Minnesota in-person with a focus on quality, communication, and profitability.
You will coordinate with clients, field teams, and vendors, manage schedules, selections, and budgets in Buildertrend, and ensure documentation and decisions are tracked accurately.
Location: Minnesota-based, in-person role with office, client, vendor, and jobsite responsibilities
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: Salary range to be determined based on experience and role fit
HyggeHus builds and remodels intentional homes with kindness, deep curiosity, and designs that reflect the comfort, simplicity, and warmth of Hygge living. We specialize in thoughtfully designed kitchens, baths, additions, and multi-room remodels where quality, trust, communication, and craftsmanship matter.
We are looking for a Project Manager with direct residential remodeling project management experience and Buildertrend experience. This role is for someone who already understands how remodeling projects move, where they get stuck, and how strong systems, communication, and follow-through keep projects on track.
The Project Manager is responsible for helping HyggeHus deliver remodeling projects smoothly, clearly, and profitably from handoff through completion.
This person owns day-to-day coordination, planning, communication, documentation, and follow-through. They work closely with the project development, estimating, field, trade partner, vendor, and client-facing teams to make sure scope, schedule, selections, budget information, and project decisions are organized and acted on.
This is not an entry-level construction role, a general admin role, or a role for someone hoping to learn residential remodeling project management from scratch. We are looking for someone who has already managed residential remodeling projects and knows how to use Buildertrend as a real project management tool.
We are specifically looking for someone who understands remodeling in occupied homes, existing conditions, selections, allowances, change orders, subcontractor coordination, schedule pressure, client communication, and the level of documentation required to keep a project organized.
HyggeHus needs someone who is comfortable using software every day. Buildertrend should be the central source of project information, not an afterthought.
The Project Manager should also be comfortable using tools like ChatGPT to help organize notes, draft communication, create checklists, summarize information, and identify missing questions. AI tools should support better thinking and organization, not replace construction judgment, project accountability, or verified decision-making.
This is expected to be a full-time salaried role with approximately 40 hours per week expected.
Compensation will be based on experience, responsibility level, and fit for the role. HyggeHus currently offers two weeks of paid vacation for full-time office employees.
Final compensation range, exempt or non-exempt classification, and employment details will be confirmed during the hiring process.
