Job summary

Byggmeister Design-Build is seeking a Project Manager to guide design-build remodeling projects from planning through construction, keeping the team and clients aligned at every step.

SUMMARY

Byggmeister is a worker-owned, woman-led design-build remodeling firm striving to be an exemplary steward of Boston area homes. Our goal is to improve comfort, efficiency, durability, and indoor air quality as part of every renovation. We are looking for a Project Manager to guide our design-build projects through planning and into construction, keeping our team and clients aligned every step of the way.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a highly skilled manager, who is excited about sustainable, high-performance building, and shares our commitment to building a more equitable and just industry. In addition, you:

• Have 3+ years of experience in a fast-moving, detail-heavy project or program management role; experience in residential remodeling, design, or an adjacent industry is preferred but not required

• Have strong organizational discipline and can manage multiple concurrent schedules, budgets, and workstreams with minimal oversight

• Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and experience communicating directly with clients

• Are deeply comfortable with technology and information systems, and pick up new software and tools quickly

• Bring strong interpersonal skills including the ability to hold teammates accountable to deadlines and commitments

• Work well both independently and as part of a team

• Bring positive energy, take on all tasks with enthusiasm, and work well with a wide range of people

• Take a proactive approach to problems, identifying and solving them before they risk projects and relationships

• Full-time

• 3+ years of project or program management experience

• Primarily work from home, with occasional work from shared office workspace, and regular on-site meetings

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• $40–52 hourly, depending on experience
