Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a Residential Driver to safely and courteously provide waste removal services on curbside and backdoor routes. You will operate residential/recycling collection trucks, load waste, and ensure on-route safety and compliance.

The role requires a CDL or CDL training, at least 1 year of commercial driving, and strong communication with customers. Great benefits are offered and opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License
• Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate
• Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck to collect solid waste and/or recyclables on route.
• Load solid waste and recyclables into the vehicle as required.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports.
• Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management.
• Follow all safety standards and comply with laws and company policies.
