Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a Residential Driver to safely and efficiently remove waste and recyclables on curbside routes. You will operate an automated side loading truck, perform inspections, and complete required documentation while working with supervision to optimize routes.

The role requires a valid CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 2 years of driving experience or a CDL school certificate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL required.
• Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria and safely operate vehicle and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate fully automated side loading truck on specified routes.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports.
• Communicate mechanical issues to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain route quality and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior.
• Maintain records of services performed and work with supervisor to improve routing.
