Job summary

GFL Industries in Missouri is seeking a Residential Driver to safely and efficiently provide waste removal services on curbside and backdoor routes. You will operate a residential/recycling collection truck and load waste and recyclables.

You will complete safety inspections, report issues, maintain clean vehicles, and coordinate with supervisors and helpers as needed. A CDL and at least one year of commercial driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Commercial Driver's License is required.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria and safely operate truck/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection routes with rear-load/side-load trucks.
• Load solid waste and recyclables into the vehicle and operate compactor equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
• Report mechanical issues immediately to supervisor or mechanic.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and route quality as directed.
• Coordinate with supervisor and helpers as needed; overtime may be required.
